Feature Request
Hi All,
Just hoping maybe this would be half decent feature request to see if anyone else has run into this issue.
We use the 'Request a response' feature to email our clients to return specific information and it be automatically allocated to that row. Although unlike the forms feature we cannot set specific response sections to be required prior to submittal.
Also on the Document generator there is not capability to edit the text format on this information eg making numbers larger or smaller etc.

Hi @Mark,
Do you mean 'Request a response' as 'Send Update Request' feature?
If yes, you can select specific fields/columns that you want your clients to update information on a row or rows. Look at below screenshots for your information:
For Document generator, do you mean "Document builder"? To edit the text format , you can do that in the PDF template but not in the sheet. You can format fields in the PDF template anyway you want.
Hope that helps.

Hi Gia,
Thanks for the response i do mean that althought i mean making the fields required before submittal.
eg * indicated field is required to submit.
Otherwise the field can remain blank then be submitted with missing field etc

Hi @Mark Mark
I hope you're well and safe!
To add to Gia's excellent advice/answer.
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- Add a Workflow that would trigger another Update Request as long as the required fields aren't filled in.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!
