Dashboard - adding date/time visually
Hello,
I would like to add the date and time or a clock display using the Web content widget. Has anyone done this?

There isn't a specific Widget that can embed a Clock or Time in a Smartsheet Dashboard (please submit your feedback to the Product team through this form, here!)
This article has a list of embeddable content in Dashboards: Embed Custom Content in Dashboards and WorkApps
One way to display just the Date would be to use a Sheet with a Record a Date workflow to update the date in a cell each day. Then you could use this cell as the source for a Metric Widget on your Dashboard.
Another option may be to look into a browser extension that adds a date/time so you can see it while looking at the Dashboard.
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hi Genevieve,
Thank you for the response. The third option is working for now.

I'd like to know about the third option you used for a date/time or clock widget. Is it still working?

Hi @Jesus J.
The way I got the date to display on my dashboard, was I created 'current date' field in the Sheet then in the Dashboard used the 'Metric Widget' to pull in the current date.
From my dashboard:
Hopefully that helps.
