Deactivate an automation for specific rows when parent row meets a requirement
I currently have an automation set when the red cell appears 'CHECK QUOTE VALIDITY', it will email the assigned person of that row. However, I need:
When the last column is checked, it would basically deactivate automation for all the child cells below it.

I hope you're well and safe!
If you're not using the children checkboxes for the last column, you could add =PARENT() in the children row. If it's used, you could add a so-called helper column and reference the last column in the helper column in the children rows.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thank you for this. The =PARENT() does work, however, would the automation emails still apply to the children rows?
I have an automation set when a date in a children row is within 30 days from today, it would email the assigned person, regardless if the box is checked under the "Completed" column (last column in the screenshot).
I need it so that when the box is checked, it will not send the assigned person an email when one of their column triggers the alert of the date being within 30 days.
Sorry if I'm not making sense!

Excellent!
Happy to help!
You'd need to add a Condition so that it only triggers when the checkbox for the children isn't checked.

Through conditional formatting? I'm a bit confused.

No, I meant the Conditions that you can add to a Workflow.
Make sense?
