Duration Column not calculating correctly

Hello,

We've noticed on our project plan that the Duration column is not calculating correctly. It shows a total duration of 156,648 days. Our start date and end date range is the following 4/20/22 to 3/20/23. That is one Issue.

The other is that our Communicate Row (Sub Heading) shows 3/20/23 as the end date but the main Heading for the project plan shows an end date of 9/27/22 instead of showing the end date of 3/20/23. Thanks for your help. Please see attached screen shots.

    Hi @julieg

Is there any possibility that the year on this cell was put to the wrong date?

Eg. instead of 2022, could that row have 3022? Or 2422? Since we're only seeing the end two digits, it seems like perhaps the first part of the year is wrong. This would explain why the top Parent row is going to 22 as well, instead of 23.

Try formatting the column to see the full year:

    Thanks!

Thank you for all of your help. It was the date format that was hiding an incorrect date with a 2026 start and end date. As soon as i switched to a long date format I could see the incorrect entries and changed them to reflect 2022-2023. This also caused the correct project end date to appear on the parent row at the top of the project plan.

Thank you again - you guys are great!
