Current User option not working on report/dashboard
We have a report of project budget that is shared to only limited people. We have created a report where a filter is Resource Name 'has one of' current user. It works for me, but not other users - including one who is an admin with me. We have also checked on the dashboard widget to make sure it says 'from their perspective' - but they are not seeing the info in the widget OR the report (to which they have full access).

But my colleague, who is clearly listed on the source sheet just like I, is seeing blank. She is signed in to the same account

Note: The colleague is signed into the same account for HER that is listed on smartsheet.

Does the colleague have access to the sheet the data is coming from?

Yes. She is an admin on the original sheet and the report. It is our understanding that the reason we have a report is to uncover data where the user may not have access to the original sheet - so we have one use case where the user has access to the original data and also the report, and another where the user has access to both the original data but not the report. Neither see their data as Current User on the report or resulting dashboard widget.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots of the sheet and the contact column? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

Which contact column would be helpful? On the master budget, that feeds the budget report above, the user are listed in a column that is a contact group. The report then pulls from the User column and then has the filter by 'current user' for viewing. I'm happy to give additional screenshots when I understand a bit more about where you're thinking the issue may be. Thanks for your help.

No. No resolution. I gave Andree access to the report in question as listed above but haven't heard anything back. I'm not sure if I'm happy I'm not the only one! It seems there may be something new happening.

Thanks for your discussion! I had the same issue but the resolution was that our current user report was pulling from our Portfolio Summary which wasn't shared to all our users.

@Annaleah Morrow and myself have still not resolved this issue. Do you have any updates?

Has there been any resolution to this? We have a similar issue with 2 users where their email addresses were recently added to a column on a sheet (the sheet was also shared with them) and the report we use so each person can see what is assigned to the current user based on that column does not show them anything when filtered to the current user. It works for the other 3 users just fine. If I hard code the report filter to one of the 2 users (email address) then it works as expected. The 2 users are added as contacts, just like the 3 working users are. I submitted a case to SS.
