Contact List - how to reuse in other sheet/forms
We have a master directory sheet with a contact list column (emails/names). How do we populate other sheets with the same contact list column so it can be used in Forms entries. It is currently not possible to copy/paste.

There currently isn't a way to copy/paste columns across sheets, as you've found. Please add your vote to this Idea Post to let the Product team know of your request, the top-voted posts are reviewed monthly.

I am looking for the same functionality to auto populate contact list in "Forms" - name suggestions as user(s) start typing on the field.

If you add Contacts to the Column properties:
Then these will appear as options in form dropdown:
