how can i set a reminder to task (b) for 2weeks prier ro after date of taks (a) ?
so in i change task a date task b will change too
I agree with @Mike TV! You could use a formula in Task B's cell to add days to Task A's date and bring that back into the current row. Here's an example:
See: Use Formulas to Perform Calculations With Dates
Just create a column for a reminder date with Task A date +14. Make sure the new column is a date type column.
if row1 is start project day and row 2 is a meeting after 12 days and i change row 1 date how will row 2 change accordingly ?
why the formula don't work on stat & end day column?
Are you using Project Settings in this sheet?
Here's more information: Areas where formula use is restricted
The following fields being used for dependencies and resource management:
not sure i understand how the settings works. now the start date work and due date don't with the formula
Thank you for this screen capture!
The reason you cannot add a formula to your Due Date column or End Date column is because you are using this with Dependencies.
What this means is that instead of adding a formula to one of your dates, your dates will automatically calculate if you add a Duration (number of days) into the duration column.
For example, if you add a date in your Due Date column, then add "12" into your Duration column, the End Date date value will automatically return a date that's 12 working days later.

I made a couple of changes and saved. When I returned to the sheet it was blank. I did this three times with the same result. If I click into the other…
