NEW! Clickable Title Widget in Dashboards
Hi Community!
Dashboard editors can now configure the title widget to be a hyperlink. This means you can now redirect dashboard viewers to a location of your choosing when the title widget is clicked, giving you greater flexibility to decide how you want your audience to interact with your dashboard.
This feature is available for Pro, Business and Enterprise customers.
You can also stay informed by subscribing to receive product release updates for curated news of recently released product capabilities and enhancements for the platform of your choosing. As new releases occur, you will receive a daily email (Monday - Friday) with news of what's released.
Cheers!

Yay! This will get used a LOT!

Is this any different than putting a hyperlink in a Rich Text widget? I've been doing that for a while. This one lets my users open the link to a Help Ticket entry form.

@Jeff Reisman I think the only real difference would be formatting. Other than that, I think it is pretty much the same.

The Rich Text Widget has one MORE formatting option than the Title widget does.
Title Widget:
Rich Text:
So yeah, pretty much the same! 😀

@Jeff Reisman I was thinking more along the lines of highlighting text vs changing the background color of the entire widget. I didn't even look at those bits, but yeah. Rich text allows for bullets/numbering whereas Title does not.
I think at this point the "differences" are more "user preference". I personally like to use Title widgets instead of the widget titles for certain things such as charts. That way if the chart gets broken, I can still have the title in place to give me an idea of what WAS there before.
I have set up the charts to take users to a report when clicked on, then had clients tell me it isn't working. Come to find out they were clicking on the title bar and not the chart, so this should help alleviate that at least. Haha
