    Question about data collection via form

    Hello,

    I have a logic in the form that will request to fill some info based on the dept, e.g., if they select 4 depts, the form will show 4 sections of info to fill. The issue is each dept needs different info.

    The max # of dept is 20, which is a lot if they selected all of them. I wonder what I can do to make the data collection easier.

      Can you change your sheet so they only enter data for the info once and they multi select the Depts it applies to?

      Your form would be really simple then: some field for data and 1 multi select for Dept

      Hi Ryan,

      If I select multi dept then multi sections will be open to filling for each dept. the more dept we selected, the more fields they need to fill. I just feel a spreadsheet file is easier in this case.
