Alphanumeric column add 1

Hi All,

Anyone know how to add 1 in the alphanumeric column?

For example:

ABC-001

ABC-002

ABC-003

Excel formula is =LEFT($E$2,4)&TEXT(RIGHT(E7,3) + 1,"000"). Anyone know what's the formula in Smartsheet?

Hi @Andrée Starå ,

Yes, i've tried the auto-numbering. But when the column get deleted, it will continue with the next number.

And auto numbering is my last choice.
