I was excited to see this and quickly downloaded the desktop app. I was thinking now I won't have a million Smartsheets open in my browser that is already overcrowded with other open tabs.

Can't wait to get the desktop app approved by my IT department, so I can install it!

Also looking forward to the new "Reports stay connected" functionality. I'm tired of having reports break due to column name changes. This one can't come soon enough!

And "better dashboards", yes please!

Thanks Smartsheet for the continued improvements. Really looking forward to trying it all out.

Sounds great!

Can't wait for:

RM Capacity view (and hopefully scenarios)
Reports stay connected - been waiting for this forever
Desktop App (nice and could make users opening Smartsheet with IE xx go away ;-) BUT on Mac should interact with keychain to make it easier to switch between multiple accounts)
Dashboards - very welcome

seen it, installed it on my Mac and waiting how it changes the way I work with Smartsheet :-)

As I posted above, a special wish from myself (as a Smartsheet consultant) would be to easily switch between multiple accounts.

@Stefan I haven't done anything with the desktop app yet, but was definitely wondering about that. Or being able to have multiple instances of the app downloaded so I can be signed in to multiple clients at once instead of having to juggle between regular windows and incognito windows. Haha.

I agree we need multiple instances of the desktop version to open at one time or even a pop out option. I have been using the new desktop version since it's launch and I found that in the past when creating new processes for automation or creating new dashboards etc that I will have a couple of browser tabs open side by side to review two or more Smartsheets at a time, with the current desktop version that is not possible.

My current situation is having the desktop app open, turn off the Smartsheet extension and use a browser tab to view a second instances of Smartsheet.

not yet. Because it is so new I wanted to wait if Genevieve wants to provide an outlook about soon coming features.
