Annual Reminder Based on Date Entered

I've searched here for this, but I can't come up with a solution in workflows to do what I need.

What I need is fairly simple: I need to remind users automatically every year to requalify for training in my company. I have a Smartsheet where employees can enter a date in a date column based on when they completed their last training qualification. I'd like to automatically send a reminder to that person based on the date entered in the date column at the same time the following year.

I hope my question makes sense, thanks in advance.

Your trigger can be when a date is reached, 365 days after your date field:

Change the time to whatever is appropriate and you can also setup other conditions.

THANK YOU Andreé! That worked for me, but there is one other refinement I'd like to add to that workflow. There are limited options for the "days after" field, 365 days after, the 180 days after below that. Ideally, I'd like to notify people in the week leading up to the year mark. If I select custom recurrence, the options are limited to selecting a single date only. Is there a way to make a recurring reminder while still referencing the date entered into the date column field?
