3rd time lucky...

Is it possible/how can i link a helper cell from one sheet to the selected date on another?

Once a date is entered here .....

I need the primary column info to go to...a cell on the same date here

There must be a way!

Link Cell - right click on the cell, then select Link Cell

will that link change when the date is changed and go to the right sheet? i didnt think it would so havent tried tbh!

Correct, it will and should change in real time or when you refresh the page after the change is made on the reference.

so how would it would for multiple lines? that row is for one job so there will be many lines with dates that need to be linked but once the date is selected. if i link one date then drag the formula down?

When you select the range to link, select the range.

hmmm like i thought this just transferes the info in the date cell ( the date ) to the same cell on the same row on the other sheet. i need it to go to the date.
