Can you cell-link within the same sheet?

My team is tracking product development for a project and we want to be able to reference multiple rows within the same sheet. For example, in row 20 we want to have a column labelled "Refer To" and then in the cell, have a link that takes the user to row 100, 140, or 170. I know you can cell-link to other sheets in a workspace, but we want to create a quicker way to find information within the same sheet without having to scroll or create a bunch of filters (as that could get confusing). Has anyone come across this before, and have a solution or a work-around?

Thanks!

Brad

Boy. I am not sure that is possible. You could reference the cell, but there is no way to link to a cell in a sheet.

    Hello Smartsheet Users,

Yes, cell linking within the same sheet (unfortunately) is not available as a feature yet and I would certainly recommend submitting this as an idea but in the meantime, you can achieve similar functionality using the below options -

    1. Formulas:You can use a formula to reference the cell in the same sheet. For example, =[column name]n where n is the row number.

    2. Row Links:You can create a link to the row containing the cell you want to reference. This can be done by right-clicking the row, selecting "Properties," copying the "Row Link," and pasting it into another cell.

    Hope this helps!!
