How can I link cells from an excel form to a column in smart sheet?

I am using this excel form to quote repair work. I would like to link the cells in the excel form to the columns in the smart sheet.

    Hi @TDobson

Are you trying to link Smartsheet and Excel? If yes, then you use the ODBC connector to link/overwrite the Smartsheet fields in Excel.

If this is the case, I'd be pleased to help you in establishing the connection.

Thank you for your response. Would data shuttle allow me to make a connection to the excel sheet so that when values are entered on that sheet those values would populate the columns in the smartsheet.

It appears that Data Shuttle will not give me the functionality. I will look into the ODBC Connector solution. Thank you for your assistance.

  • @Khasim , would you please provide more details about connecting Excel to SmartSheet?

@LilyWANG Consider using Smartsheet's Data Connector for Excel, which allows you to link Smartsheet and Excel , keeping data in sync.

    • Another option is using third-party tools like Zapier or Microsoft Power Automate to create automated workflows between Excel and Smartsheet.
