Template Sheet
Can a template sheet be created with specific columns and formulas. Using cross references to other sheets so that data can be attained.
Then copy this template into new jobs as they come up and the formulas and cross references work for each individual job.

Do you mean to have the cross sheet references pointing to another job specific sheet and automatically update when the template is saved to another job?

You would need to skip creating the template. You would create both sheets and link them together as need. Then you would drop them both into a folder and use the "Save as New" feature on the folder.

Hi Robert,
I agree with Paul—using the "Save as New" feature on a folder containing pre-linked sheets is often the most reliable way to maintain your cross-sheet references when duplicating for new jobs.
One tip I’ve found helpful is to structure your folder with all job-specific sheets, dashboards, and reports already linked. That way, when you use "Save as New," the entire structure will copy over seamlessly. This approach ensures that each job’s set remains isolated, with its own cross-sheet formulas and references intact.

I appreciate both of you. I do see how that works. But let me further explain. We are a large construction company. We have failed to find any one software to do all things we need. One issue is having a schedule for each job and being able to create detailed reports from the schedule information. So in a year, we will have 200 jobs. Each job will have its own schedule. I want to take specific information from each job and create a report. But i cant sit and create a new schedule each time. So "Save as New" sounds like it would work, but i dont think so.

Hi @Robert S Fike,
I hope you're well and safe!
I'd recommend exploring the Premium App, Control Center. It was made for this! You can have automatically updated Portfolio Overviews, Projects provisioned automatically, and more.Have you explored it?
Feel free to reach out, and I'd be happy to help show it and provide investment details.
Please email me at andree@workbold.com, and we'll take it from there.
Is that an option?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic day!

@Robert S Fike I would suggest looking into the premium add-on Control Center. It is specifically designed to help replicate a templated solution over and over again as well as provide roll-up reporting so that you can have portfolio and higher level reporting while only needing to manage at the project level.

How do i add the premium app
