I cant login on the iphone app

I created an account on my laptop using my Gmail account and started a project.

I downloaded the iphone app. I tried to login using my email and password and the password is not recognised.

I tried to login using my gmail account on the app and the project I started is not shown, It's like a brand new account.

I'm unsure what to do

Log out everywhere, then log in via the Gmail “Sign in with Google” button.
Check that it’s the same Gmail account used on your laptop.
If that fails, delete and reinstall the app, then repeat the step above.

On the iPhone app, choose “Sign in with Google” instead of typing your email and password.
Make sure you’re using the exact same Google account you used on your laptop (check the profile icon in Gmail if you have multiple accounts).
If you must use email + password login, go to Smartsheet in a browser and reset your password so the app accepts it.
Double-check the region/domain — Smartsheet has different data centers (like happymoodhub.com and .eu) and your account may be tied to one.
If after logging in it still shows a blank account with no project, it could mean you accidentally created a second account with the same Gmail address under a different login method. Support can merge them for you if that’s the case.

I had a similar issue when switching between devices, and it turned out the problem wasn’t with my password but with how the login method was handled. When you first create a Smartsheet account using “Sign in with Google” on your laptop, the system links your account to Google authentication rather than a separate Smartsheet password. So, if you try to log in on the iPhone app using email + password, it might not work because there’s technically no standalone password set for that account yet.

In my case, once I made sure I was logging into the same account method everywhere, all my data synced perfectly between laptop and iPhone. I’ve seen this kind of mismatch happen in other apps too — for example, when I once tested something similar with a tool unrelated to Smartsheet, where downloading it from the App Store created what felt like a fresh account instead of linking my existing one. (That’s where, in another context, I later learned to double-check app source and account linkage — same principle applies whether it’s a productivity tool like Smartsheet or even something completely different like a modded app platform.)
