Smart Sheet Forms - Can no longer delete or Duplicate Forms

Hey folks,

For some reason the option to delet or duplicate a SmartSheet Form has disapeared from my view. From my SmartSheet, I used to be able to click Forms, then Manage Forms, which produced a list of Forms for my sheet. It still does this, but what is missing is the 3 verticle dots (ellipsis). I used to be able to use that to delet, inactivate, or duplicate my forms. Now It's no longer there.

Anyone know why, or better yet, how to get it back?

Hi all,
As we all know, Paul has incredible deduction skills! There was indeed a temporary issue impacting only forms with long titles, where the Duplicate/Delete options were missing.

This has now been fixed! All forms, including ones with long names, should show all options.

@212711649 Try the below instructions.

In Table view I can see the forms menu option.
Click the drop down and choose Manage forms
A side panel comes up on the right.
Click the 3 dots.
Choose delete.

If you want to make the form in active. You can go into edit and choose the Active / Inactive slider.

Thanks for raising this, I've just checked mine and it's the same. I use grid view for my default and it's not available in that view under manage forms. I've tried in table view and duplicate isn't showing as an option either. This seems odd, have they done an update and forgot to keep this function? @Genevieve P. you're a smartsheet employee, any insight on this please?

I lost the Reminders function in Grid view this morning. I have to send use the request update function.

It seems something has changed.

I flicked by sheet with form back to grid view. I can see the 3 dots and duplicate.

Maybe it is fixed?? I am on US.

OK, so If you switch from Grid View to Table View, then click the "Collect data with customized forms" icon shown below:

Then choose "Manage Forms, You'll see the Ellipsis there which will allow you to Delete your forms but not Duplicate. I still need to figure out how to Duplicate an existing form.

Unfortunately, I still cannot see the Ellipsis or the Duplicate option.

This happened on some (not all) sheets for me as well. I found that the ones affected had form names that were longer than 31 characters (including spaces). Once I shortened the form names so that they didn't wrap, I was able to access the three dots menu.

I have submitted a ticket to support, and I recommend everyone else experiencing the same thing do so as well.
