Hi Smartsheet team,We have two feature requests related to Dynamic View:## 1. Filter by Current User's GroupCurrently, Dynamic View does not support filtering rows based on the current viewer's group membership. We need different teams (e.g., Security, DCEO, DCO) to see only their relevant rows automatically, without creating separate views for each group.Request: Add a "Current User's Group" option in Dynamic View filter conditions.## 2. Capture actual modifier for existing row editsWhen users edit existing rows via Dynamic View, we cannot automatically record who made the change because:- The "Modified By" system column records automation@smartsheet.com (overwritten by subsequent automation)- The "Assign People" automation action does NOT support dynamic placeholders like {{Actor}} or {{Triggered by}} — only hardcoded contacts- The "Initial Value = Current User" field property only works for NEW items, not existing row editsRequest: Either:- Add an {{Actor}} / {{Triggered by}} placeholder in the "Assign People" action, OR- Allow "Initial Value = Current User" to apply on every edit (not just new submissions), OR- Provide a built-in system column that records the actual Dynamic View editor## Use CaseMulti-team approval workflows in data center operations. Different teams approve through Dynamic View, and we need an audit trail of who approved what — without requiring users to manually select their own name.Thank you!
