Smartsheet Form Logic Not Hiding Conditional Field

Hi,

I’m working with a Smartsheet form and created conditional logic for the “Feature Implemented” field.

The logic appears to be configured correctly: if the value selected in “Feature Implemented” is “Other,” the field “Feature implemented if other” should be displayed for the user to enter additional details.

However, the logic does not appear to be working as expected. The “Feature implemented if other” field is always visible, regardless of the response selected in “Feature Implemented.”

Has anyone experienced this issue or can suggest how to correct the configuration? I’ve attached some screenshots for reference.

Try switching the logic to hide the field if it is not "Other".

Here is how I have a certain bit of logic set up to only show certain fields depending on a date. Based on this, I feel like your logic should be working to only show those certain fields when a specific selection is made.

When you have it set up the original way, does the field get hidden when you make a selection other than "DPR"? In both your screenshots and those of the original poster, the field managing the logic is blank. I am wondering if maybe that has anything to do with it.

Have you managed to resolve this issue at all?

I use logic like yours in many many forms and I haven't noticed it not working. Your logic looks correct, but I am wondering if you have inadvertently shown the field from another piece of logic earlier in the form? (beyond what we can see in the screen shot).

I would be more than happy to jump on a quick call to see if that is the case (if this is not already resolved!)

When I am using the same logics on a test form it is working great, but on this specific form it is not working as intended.

I was afraid that was going to be the case. Sometimes forms can be just a little bit buggy.

Have you tried recreating the form from scratch to see if that helps?
