Hi Smartsheet Product Team & Community,
When collaborating on cross-functional or global projects, team members frequently leave comments in different languages. While browser-level translation (or routing through external AI integrations) is a workaround, it can disrupt the workflow when you only need to read a single comment thread.
Requested Feature: Add an inline "Translate this message" action link directly under individual comments in the conversations sidebar (similar to native translation features on platforms like HomeExchange, Slack, or LinkedIn).
Why this matters:
- Seamless UI Experience: Users can translate specific comments instantly without altering the language of the entire sheet or interface.
- Preserves Context: Keeps the user inside the active sheet thread, removing the need to copy-paste text into external tools.
- Better Global Collaboration: Makes multi-language communication effortless for international teams working in the same sheet.
