Hello,
I added a date column to my report to show the actual date in the Dashboard but for whatever reason, the Dashboard wants to display the Gant view only for the date column. Can I turn the Gant view off so it only shows the actual date like it displays in the report??
Hi Daniel,
If I understand your question correctly, you want to show the report without the Gantt chart. You would have to change the report to Grid View. Make a copy of the Report If you need that report to show in Grid View only for the Dashboard.
Would that work?

See the below screenshot. If you click on the box within the red square (don't mind the sloppiness haha) it will remove the Gantt portion from the report widget.

I was doing the same thing at first. I remembered there was an easy way to do it, but I just couldn't think of it. One of my coworkers gave me my "duh moment" of the morning to help me out. Haha
Thanks so much Paul. This worked:)
Thanks Andree:)
Happy to help!

We have hundreds of dashboards and they will all need…
When i try to send or print the timeline view instead of showing the progression bars like they do on the screen it only send the data entered and not a graph type view to print. Is there a way to do this. I am using a mac platform if that helps.
I have reproduced the following behavior in a validated Smartsheet application. User permission: Editor (not Admin) Row status: Locked (confirmed via row menu displaying "Unlock Row") Text, Date, Contact List, and Checkbox columns cannot be modified. Dropdown List columns remain editable. Selecting a new dropdown value and…
