I create Reports frequently and am comfortable with the process. What I'm wondering is if there is an easy way to create a Report from within a Sheet that is based on that same Sheet? I guess I'm looking for an option in the File menu that says Create a Report from this Sheet vs. starting a new Report and then selecting the sheet I was just in. Have I missed something? Future improvements?
Thanks!Diane
Hi Diane,
Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's a great idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Andrée, thank you for your prompt reply. I submitted the Enhancement Request and look forward to seeing this in some future release.
Another option would be to create your report, then do a "Save as" and start from your new copy. It saves you from having to create the report from scratch and it keeps the original "point to" to the original sheet. I do it frequently as I typically target different audiences with report extracts.

Happy to help!
I'd recommend Christopher's suggestion until then.

I do the same thing as Chris. I set it up then save as new. Then I go in and tweak a few of the details depending on exactly who or what is being changed for the report.
I do love your idea though of being able to create a report directly from a sheet.
Every dashboard I've created, whether it's in my workspace or a teammate's, they come up completely blank when opened. There's zero content, not even an edit option. The same type of issue with forms - I can only view the form I created - there's no edit or even viewing the structure on the back side. My work is completely…
I am suddenly not able to move a line in one sheet to another. Current Staff in one sheet, once they leave the company I move them to another sheet (Alumni) I have been doing this for a few years. Today it looks different. On moving the sheet and selecting the "Alumni Sheet" I get the message that the Sheet does not exist.…
We have seven indentical automations on every one of our 90 or so production sheets. Two of these automations maintain the consistency between two of our row fields. We can detect when either of these automations fails to operate as the two fields become inconsistent (one sets the [Date Completed] field to today's date and…
