Hi - any way of finding and re-instating the deleted section?
Hello Donald,
At this time, there isn't anything within the app itself to roll back to a previous version of the sheet. However you can email support@smartsheet.com and let us know the name of the sheet, and the approximate time (and time zone) the information was deleted, and we can look at sending the owner of the sheet a checkpoint (Excel export). This will allow you to copy the deleted information from Excel and paste it back into Smartsheet.

Also consider setting up periodic backups.

Depending on how the data is lost, it might help.
It restores from an Excel sheet, so you could get some of the data from there.
