Is there a way to send a weekly email reminder to specific people? They are shared to the sheet but I don't want the notification to go to everyone shared to the sheet.

Yes, there is!
You'd set up an Automation Workflow and select:
Trigger: When a date is reached and click on Run once and select Custom and structure it the way you need.
Conditions: Add if you need any
Alerts someone: Select who you want to send it to and what it should say.

Yes, there is! You can set up a schedule to send it as a PDF or an Excel file.
File > Send as Attachment.

That's not quite what I want. I want to send a weekly email reminder to specific people to update their pieces in a Smartsheet report (not a PDF of Excel file). I'd love if the email could send a link to that report. Is there a way to do this?

What I'm trying to do is send email reminders to various groups of people about going into a report (not sheets) to make updates. Is there a good way to set these up?
If I understand your need correctly, I'd recommend setting up a current user report and send on a weekly recurrence, and then the users would see their tasks on the attachment but also if they click on the link that opens the report.

We're getting close. It sounds like that would work but I want to be able to select which users it goes to (not everyone who is a user of the report should get an email).
You can select who you want to send the report to when you set it up. Another way would be to copy the link to the report and include it in an alert from the sheet instead if that would make it easier to manage or if you don't want/need to send them the attached PDF or Excel file.

Is there a way to revert to the old dashboard look and feel. The new dashboards do not look good at all. There is no way of knowing if there are additional items in the widgets until you scroll over one to learn there is more to it since the vertical bar doesn't show. When i try to send or print the timeline view instead of showing the progression bars like they do on the screen it only send the data entered and not a graph type view to print. Is there a way to do this. I am using a mac platform if that helps.
