I'd like to publish my sheet and have it default to the gantt view so that users see the gantt view by default. Right now, the default view only shows the grid. Is it possible to change the default view when publishing a link?
Hi Bill,
If you have the default view set to "Grid (Gantt)" as in my screen capture below, then the published user will see either just the grid view or the gantt view, depending on how you, the owner of the sheet, are viewing the sheet.
If you want to make sure published users default to the gantt view, then keep your own view in gantt. This is because a published link displays dynamic data, or what is currently in the sheet (see our Help Center article about this, here.)
Cheers,
Genevieve
