I'm trying to count a specific initials in a column with multi initials in each cell, but it doesn't work.

Is that a limitation?

I think you might be right that there is no direct way of doing it, I've attached a possible workaround though, using the Find feature to effectively get value to count from. Hope this helps

Thank you for the replay, but unfortunately it won't work for what I need.
I'm building a schedule calendar for my team, I have 5 columns: Week day name, Date, Morning, Day and Night. In each shift there are more than 2 people (in each cell). See the picture.
I need to count each individual person, how many shifts he had in the Morning, Day and Night on different periods (week, month).
