Re: My formulas on my Metric sheet are calculating 0 and I'm not sure why
You are using a SUMIF function. This is used to add numbers together. It looks to me like you are more trying to count the number of instances in which case you would want a COUNTIF or COUNTIFS function instead.

Re: Welcome to the new AI Community!
- How long have you been using Smartsheet?
- Just over 3 yrs
- How are you using Smartsheet AI today or planning to in the future?
- I have yet to use AI but plan to in the future to help generate knowledge related to risks, common change orders, and applying lessons learned from various projects on new projects.
- What would you like to learn from your peers using AI?
- How you are using it to achieve the leverage of years of information to help address future work.

Re: Welcome to the new AI Community!
I've been using Smartsheet for over 3 years and I love the ai feature! I wish it would work across sheets and hoping this will be in the near future.
Re: Welcome to the new AI Community!
I've been using Smartsheet for over 2 years, and the AI feature has been a game changer for me in creating formulas. Just started using it for summaries.
Looking forward to inspiration from this community on how else I can use it.

Re: Welcome to the new AI Community!
Hello, Everyone!~
I have been using Smartsheets for over 5 years in various industries! Smartsheet AI, I am rather new to but AI in general, I use it in my day to day all the time. We will be upgrading our business plan to enterprise soon, and I know that comes with an AI Integration, and I am so happy! Cannot wait to explore it more!
How are you all using it or where should I begin!?

I have been using Smartsheet for nearly a year. The AI tool is such a great resource for constructing formulas and integrating them into sheet solutions.

Re: Bar Chart Colors based on Value
Hello @Umesh Shah
I made a video showing you how to do this, check it out here. Note that I ended up making a report to feed the chart as opposed to the Source sheet to prevent series loss (so I recommend you do this as well).
To make this work, you need to:
- Create separate columns for positive/negative values,
- Use formulas to pull in values to the appropriate column,
- Reference these columns in your chart and apply the formatting you would like to each column.
You can view the dashboard and interact with the chart here.
AI-Powered Document Analysis – Turning PDF Documents into Smartsheet Workflows
Dear All,
We recently hosted our live webinar:
“AI-Powered Document Analysis – Turning PDF Documents into Smartsheet Workflows” – and we had a great turnout with nearly 300 Smartsheet users joining us.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive – especially on the live demos, which showed how much time and effort this solution can save. If you missed it, no worries:

🔍 Why You Should Watch the Recording:
Attendees were especially impressed by how seamlessly our Azure OpenAI integration enhances Smartsheet to automate what was previously manual, time-consuming work. In under 10 minutes, we showed how you can:
- ✅ Extract key data from safety data sheets and create structured Smartsheet rows for compliance and hazard handling
- ✅ Turn incoming PDF invoices in any language into usable accounting data and live dashboards
- ✅ Convert a purchase agreement into a complete project timeline with Gantt charts and task owners — all powered by AI
- ✅ Maintain data privacy and security by running everything inside your Azure environment, fully GDPR-compliant
