Re: Happy 10th Anniversary Community + Giveaway!
If Microsoft, Monday.com, and Google got in a room to combine their efforts, they would end up with Smartsheet.
Grids, Calendars, Charts and Graphs, Project Management, Forms, Reports, Dashboard AND AI!

Re: Set Time Zone for Created Date reflected in Dynamic View
I had the same issue and added a column with a column formula that converts the date/time in the Created column to text. I then display that column in the Dynamic View instead. Formula: =Created@row + ""
Display of the text column in the Dynamic View:
Hope this helps.
Meet Julia L Rumburg, our February Member Spotlight! 🎉
Shout it from the rooftops: Our February Member Spotlight is @Julia L Rumburg, nominated by YOU, the Community! Seeing you recognize and appreciate each other is such a beautiful thing.
Julia is a Strategy Consultant at SoftwareX, and calls North Carolina in the US home. She began her Smartsheet journey 15 years ago when she witnessed a colleague use something she simply referred to as “Grids.” Since then, Julia has evolved alongside what she found out was Smartsheet, beginning with basic project tracking all the way to implementing enterprise-wide solutions to drive organizational efficiency. “That one moment showed me how strategic information management could transform business operations,” she says.
Years later, Julia has now implemented solutions across various industries. She’s particularly proud of a recent project that resulted in reduced project completion times by 15% through automation. “Smartsheet’s automation capabilities continue to amaze me,” she says. “It’s gratifying to see how far the platform has come and how it empowers teams to work smarter.” (Alison Note: We see what you did there, Julia).
Julia has been a force here in Community, and one of our favorite PeerConnect success stories. When the feature was rolled out, she was matched up with Community Champion @Protonsponge (Louis), and a bond was formed. She says:
“What began as sharing Smartsheet expertise has blossomed into a friendship that extends far beyond our professional lives. It’s a testament to how genuine connections can emerge from professional communities when you’re truly passionate about what you do.”
Looking ahead, Julia has shifted her focus to empowering small and medium-sized businesses to leverage enterprise-grade solutions. She finds great joy in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business outcomes while pursuing growth.
Outside of her great work efforts, Julia flexes her creative muscles through home decorating and furniture refinishing projects. She's also an active member of her local AI professional community and occasionally mentors young professionals in her spare time. Travel and culinary exploration fuel her innovative thinking—she recently returned from Ireland, where she met up with her PeerConnect match Louis in person for the first time! Otherwise, she can be found discovering beautiful pet-friendly venues in North Carolina with her two "feral" Pomeranians.
Thank you so much Julia for all you do!

Re: Restrict number of times date is allowed to generate?
@kowal , thank you for the advice. After further review, we believe my initial parameters would not work as the rows are set to be removed from the sheet once the task is complete. This would then alter the remaining entries and skew the due dates. Thank you for your review on this though, much appreciated!
Re: Counting occurrences for each month for this year only
Hi @Erica Cole,
What error is your formula giving? Your formula should work (the month/year order doesn't matter) so either of the below should be valid:
=COUNTIFS({Sourcer}, "JJ", {Sourced Date}, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell), 0) = YEAR(TODAY()), {Sourced Date}, IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 1)
=COUNTIFS({Sourcer}, "JJ", {Sourced Date}, IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 1, {Sourced Date}, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell), 0) = YEAR(TODAY()))
My initial thought was that the Sourced Date column hadn't been set to date, but this would stop the original formula from working. The only other thing I can think of is if the cross sheet references (if this is a different sheet) aren't set up quite right (one being a column and the other only a selection of cells?), but the error you're getting might shed some more light on this.
Re: Happy 10th Anniversary Community + Giveaway!
Smartsheet puts you in the driver's seat of your process and the only limitation is your imagination.
Re: Happy 10th Anniversary Community + Giveaway!
Smartsheet is like a magic spreadsheet that doesn’t just hold data—it organizes projects, automates tasks, and keeps teams in sync, all in one seamless, cloud-powered hub!

Creating a collection from a folder is now here!
You asked and we answered! Now you can share all or part of a folder to a collection with just a simple click. Sharing exactly what you want with who needs to see it is easier and faster than ever.
Workspace admins can now create a collection from the contents of a folder via the “add folder items to collection” by clicking the three little dots next to the folder they want to share in the workspace panel. They can add all or part of the folder into an existing collection or create a new one featuring the content needed for the given scope. And to make organizing your assets even easier, we recently enabled admins to reorder the hierarchy of collections to make finding work faster than ever.
All sheets, reports, and dashboards at the root of the selected folder will be added to the collection. Sheet templates and forms inside the folder will not be added. Items added to the folder after the action will not automatically be added later to the target collection (i.e. it’s a snapshot; no synchronization). To learn more about this, please read the Help article here.
As a reminder, Collections is available for plans on the new user model.
Thank you,
