Re: How to simplify SUMIF formula
Hi Kowal and Kelly,
Thank you for taking the time to work through a couple of solutions. With some trial and error, we've added two rows to the top of our sheet; a row for the number corresponding with the month and a row for the year. After we update the references in the January column, we can then simply drag across and the formula updates for the rest of the year. So far, this is working well for us, but in the meantime, I'll also check out the Pivot App.
=IF(SUMIFS({USD Amount}, {Date}, AND(IFERROR(MONTH(@cell ), 0) = January3, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell ), 0) = January4)) = 0, "-", SUMIFS({USD Amount}, {Date}, AND(IFERROR(MONTH(@cell ), 0) = January3, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell ), 0) = January4)))
Re: Formular Workday Count
Assuming your sheet is configured so that work days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday…
You start with Thursday 4/24/25.
Add 1 day and the due date is Friday 4/25 (1 work day after 4/24)
Add 1 more day (2 work days total) - Monday 4/28 as Sat 26 and Sun 27 are not working days.
Add 1 more day (3 work days total) - Tuesday 4/29
Add 1 more day (4 work days total) - Wednesday 4/30
Add 1 more day (5 work days total) - Thursday 5/1
Add 1 more day (6 work days total)- Friday 5/2
Add 1 more day (7 work days total) - Monday 5/5 (again skipping Sat and Sun)
Add 1 more day (8 work days total) - Tuesday 5/6
Add 1 more day (9 work days total)- Wednesday 5/7
Add 1 more day (10 work days total) - Thursday 5/8
Add 1 more day (11 work days total) - Friday 5/9

My favorite piece of Decor! A quote from one of Cher's 1995 interviews where she talks about how her mom would always say "I wish you would hurry and settle down and find a rich man." She then replies, "Mom, I am a rich man!"

Re: Why every time I hit the create button it opens the Workspace panel?
This is annoying me more than it should! I don't need all new workspaces- I have all my sheets in folders how I need them. It needs to be an option to do a folder instead of workspace!

Re: Introduce yourself & get to know your peers!
Hello Everyone,
I have worked in many industries, lived in many US States, like to do many activities like flying airplanes, scuba diving, cycling, organizing (yes, that is a hobby 😊), entertaining guests, crafting, and dog training.
Thank you for everything you all have and will continue to teach me. I look forward to learning from you and hoping I can provide some insights as well.

Re: Extracting all text from a cell to the right of a symbol
Your solution is MID - like LEFT, this function counts starting at the beginning of the string - which is where you need to start counting, since you don't know how long an entry will be.
=MID(Comment@row,FIND("-",Comment@row,1)+1,4000)
The ,1 in the formula locates the leftmost hyphen - I just like that kind of precision. The +1 in the formula extracts starting the character after the hyphen. The 4000 in the formula extracts up to the 4000 characters after that hyphen - so since there's a max of 4000 characters allowed per cell, you won't risk pulling just the middle characters of a cell.
Good luck!

Re: 作業時間収集
@Takeshi Matsuo
式 =FormURL#
ワークフローは以下のように設定します。順番が逆になりましたが、上のメールのイメージは、テストで送付してみたものです。
下はURLをクリックしてフォームに入力した結果です。
ちなみにログインを求めてメールと日付は自動で取得するようにしています。
