Re: Celebrating Milestones
Hi @rebecca.collins !
Are you looking for something automated? Or something for a one time use? If it's just one time, you could drop a large image widget onto the dashboard with a fun graphic.
For something automated, you could use a formula to determine if the criteria has been met, and if yes, have a metric widget that displays a bold announcement highlighting the milestone.

Re: Projects that repeat
Like most things in Smartsheet, there are a few options based on your preferences and context for this process.
Here are a couple of options:
1 - You could clear the existing completion status of the repeated tasks via automation. Perhaps clear a [Completion %] column or adjust a [Status] to "Not Started" via the Clear Cell Value and Change Cell Value workflows.
2 - You could build a sheet with these repeated tasks and then have a copy row automation that brings them into your overall webinar schedule each quarter.
Depending on how many events you're doing and their complexity, you could also use Control Center to build out these projects, but that's probably overkill.

Re: Read Only fields on emailed Request for Update
Hi all,
Just wanted to jump in here to make sure anyone commenting on this thread knows that you can turn fields in Update Requests to be read only by Locking a field or column π
Owners and Admins can make updates (since they can update locked fields directly in the sheet), so if you have these permissions you may not have seen this in your testing.
Here's more information:
The original poster also suggested another option: joining multiple fields together with a formula in a hidden sheet column, then surfacing that in the update request as "extra info".
Cheers,
Genevieve

I've just started exploring Brandfolder. Having access to the icons really makes my dashboards look official.
Re: Introduce yourself & get to know your peers!
Hi everyone,
I'm Talitha, and I'm excited to be part of the Smartsheet Community. I'm based in Minnesota and currently work at Capella University as a Project Manager in Course Development. I use Smartsheet for just about everything I can - project management, task tracking, automation, team collaboration, data visibility, and more. I'm always exploring new ways to take full advantage of its features.
A little about me: I'm married, have one son, and our two cats are kind enough to share their home with us. A fun fact - I'm probably the most idly productive person I know. I donβt enjoy being physically active, but Iβm definitely not lazy!
I'm looking forward to connecting with others in the community and sharing ideas.

Re: Introduce yourself & get to know your peers!
Hello!
I am Becky from the Cincinnati area and am getting to learn smartsheets as an employee of our children's hospital! Smartsheets has been great to track my various projects around congenital heart disease.
Glad to join the community,
Becky

Re: Smartsheet AI
I've only used the AI function as an EAP Member. I found formulas using AI is a bit finicky - you can't just ask AI how to create a formula using general terms - it has to link to specific fields already established on the sheet - and even then sometimes the request has to be worded "correctly".
Most of the formulas I'm looking for are complicated and advanced. I'm having to ask the community for help because the AI isn't able to really help.
It would help if the AI could kind of take the stance of answering as if you posted in the community: 1) associate general terms with existing fields on your sheet and 2) tell you what fields you need to add or change in order to generate what you want your formula to generate.
Other than that, I don't even know what else the AI feature is used for, but hope to find out now that I'm following this community discussion.
Re: Smartsheet AI
Hi @Paul.Woodward ,
I mostly use it to help me with formulas. It does pretty good job there.
In my previous company it was used by HR to check if the feedback they receive is positive or negative :)

Re: Generate Documents - Using Forms
Darren is 100% spot on with how to do this.
I created an example automation workflow of what this would look like. Each of the "Generate Document" actions would generate a different type of document, depending on the dropdown value.
Best!
