Best Template For Inventory/Material Tracking
What is the best Template in Smartsheet to track inventory going from warehouse to field and then the unused stuff returning to the warehouse.
Re: Version Control/Backups That Maintain Cell Links
I just ran into this as well. I've been maintaining a "non-prod" version of my workspace for several months but when I tried to save it as a new copy I got the dreaded message that I can't because I have more than 100 items. I've been touting this as a great solution within the company and had no idea of this limitation. If it's not resolved quickly we'll likely have to move our solution to another tool as others have stated.

Re: How to allow domain level permissions on a workapp?
heard back from Smartsheet support, so sharing for others' benefit:
there isn't a straightforward way to share to an entire org (though this is a phenomenal idea). The closest we can get is to share to a Smartsheet group.Β
To do this, you would need to have a Group Admin create a group within your org that contained all of the users within the org. Then, when sharing your items (WorkApp, sheet, report, dashboard, workspace), you can share to the group and effectively the entire org.Β For more information on Smartsheet groups, please see:Β Admin Center: Manage and use Smartsheet contact groups.
To find a Group Admin, you'll want to reach out to a SysAdmin within your org. To find the contact information for a SysAdmin, navigate to Account > Plan Info... > Contact Email.
Re: Symbol Flexibility - more symbol colors/options
Until this becomes a thing, you can use UNICHAR(11044) to output a black dot which can have the color changed using conditional formatting which allows you to use any of the colors in the Conditional Formatting pallet.

Re: What size image, width x height, is best for a background logo on a form?
@seattlevigilante Thanks for the pointers.
But if you have ever inserted an image as the backdrop for a form, you may have seen that it appears to fill the entire space regardless of how big the image file is. I was hoping to understand how big that space is, so I could position the key part of an image (like a logo) immediately above the form text.
Of course, one can just place a logo on the form ... which is where I am today.
Cheers,

What size image, width x height, is best for a background logo on a form?
Has anyone discovered the right dimensions for an image to best fill a form background?
Is it conditional on form-factor?

Re: Combining selected cells into one cell ignoring blanks?
Hello @toca1
Looks like you're biggest issue is with the range references. Set it up similar to this format:
=JOIN(COLLECT([Helper Column]:[Helper Column],Β [First Column Name]:[First Column Name],[First Column Name]@row,[Last Column Name]:[Last Column Name],[Last Column Name]@row, [First Column Name]:[First Column Name],NOT(ISBLANK(@cell))), " - ")
If you specify multiple columns in a single range, you also need to specify which column to return. If you only specify 1 column in a reference, you only have 1 column to return making the function simpler. Select columns individually and you should have less trouble. If you want a combined name, use a helper column like @Eric Law mentioned.

Re: How can I create a more readible form output, like formstack?
Are you using the grid/table view in your reports?
Just an idea...you could leave your form as is, create reports based on the 5 types (or even based on the sub-type level), and put those reports in card view. I'm assuming your users want to see more like the form layout and card view could get you closer to that than the grid view.
Re: Schedule Form Deactivation & Friendly Form Ended Msg
1 - You are correct, there current is no option to automatically deactivate a form. You can set a reminder to do it yourself, but deactivating a form is a manual process at this time. (Please submit your feedback to the Product team through this form, here).
2 - There also isn't currently a way to change what the error message says when you deactivate a form. It will have the standard message:
What I would suggest doing is create a Duplicate of the form so you have the layout you worked on. Then, delete all the fields in your current form, except for the Title and a Description:
This way when users access your link, they'll see the custom message you've added as the Description:
Even though the Submit button is there, users won't be able to submit the form as nothing exists.
I hope that helps!
