Re: Dynamic view for person & team
@Neil Watson I've just tested out another option that might work for you.
Set up a separate team list sheet with a row per team and a multi-select contact column for the team members.
On your task sheet you'll need a single-select contact column for your assignee, a column for your team name (text/number is fine) and a multi-select contact column for the team. Assignee should be selectable. Under the team name column add the following column formula:
=INDEX(COLLECT({Team list Name}, {Team list Team}, HAS(@cell, Assignee@row)), 1)
Note, here 'Team list Name' is the name of the team and 'Team list Team' is the multi-select contact column with the team members.
Under the multi-select contact column in the task sheet add the following column formula:
=INDEX(COLLECT({Team list Team}, {Team list Name}, [Team Name]@row), 1)
This should pull through all the contacts for the relevant team and you should then be able to set up a Dynamic View that is filtered on that column that gives you your 'My Team's Tasks'.
Let me know if you get it up and running.

Re: Auto adjust Report Widget height
Hi,
I am facing the same issue. In Dashboard, report widget's height should auto increase/ decrease as per the rows in the report.
Please keep me updated once we have this product enhancement in place.
Need help with the correct formula excluding "On Hold" items
I have a SS Sheet with the "Task Name", "Assigned To" and "Status". Please see all the Status below,
(New, In Progress, Awaiting Approval, In Revision, Approved, Complete, On Hold, & Not Started)
I am currently using this formula to count the number of Tasks for each person on my team:
=COUNTIF([Assigned To]:[Assigned To], HAS(@cell, "McKenzie.."))
For example, let's say I have 10 Tasks, HOWEVER, I want to exclude all the "On Hold" items, which the accurate number would be 8 Tasks. Also, please keep in mind that in some Tasks, there are multiple Assignees. I am using a multi-select dropdown list to add multiple ppl to a certain task
I have used all different types of formulas like, =COLLECT, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, and nothing seems to work.
Re: Transfer Row Automation to a sheet with a formula
I hope you're well and safe!
Scroll down to the bottom of the destination sheet and check if they haven't been added there, and if they are not there, you can check the Activity Log for clues.
Was that the issue?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Re: February Question of the Month - Join the conversation and receive a badge
As a kid I wanted to be an interior designer and be around people...ALWAYS!! Now I work in Project Controls, remotely (rarely speaking to people thought the day). 🤣
The older I got, the less I wanted to spend time with people 😎

Re: Post Badges to LinkedIn
I think this is a great idea! Would be nice to show accomplishments and learnings from Smartsheet, over on LinkedIn.

Re: Is there a way to count the number of attachments in a row?
HI @Xochitl C.,
This is not currently possible, but it is a great idea. Please submit an enhancement request for this if you would like.
Thanks,

Re: Report sharing
I don't remember hearing about anything like that, but if you just need to share somebody as viewer access, a workaround is to embed said report onto a dashboard, then share the user to that dashboard as a viewer. They can then access the data without having access to the sheet.
If the user needs to input data for the report, you could set up sheet automations for update requests (or send manual updates).
If you want to give them full access to a report, then Smartsheet has a couple premium apps in Dynamic View and WorkApps that you can share somebody to a report with full access to edit/attachments/comments without accessing the source sheet.

Re: Why dont non working days carry thru to other projects?
If you've set working days for your organization at the account level, this will only apply to newly created sheets moving forward, unless they were created through a Template. Sheets from a template will inherit the Template settings.
Here's more information: Working days, non-working days, and holidays at the account level

Re: Group WorkSpaces and organize them in "folders"
I'm currently facing the same challenge. My only hack is using a unique acronym for the beginning of each workspace title. All "archived" ones start with ZZ to push them to the bottom of the list. I have workspaces for each member of my team, and these all start with "RM"(Recruiting Manager) and then the person's name. This way things are at least together on the list.
This is the main reason I held off on using workspaces. But as my projects got larger, it became too tedious to share. I would have had to share every item in the team member's folder individually, vs having a workspace that I share all at once.
I have found workspaces to be phenomenal in a multitude of ways, but as I use and create more of them the list has become increasing long and difficult to sort through.
