Re: How to pull data from another sheet based on a specific criteria
@ERinaldi So, unlike a vlookup, index will always look at your first column of the range. You will need to create a new range for the index and it should work.

Re: Request an Update Automation
Hi @Dakota Haeffner,
Pending and Complete are the only Status values. A reply is required for a Complete Status.
Ray Lindstrom
Re: Request an Update Automation
The icon itself will only show if there is a pending request. I would suggest modifying your workflow to display the status of the request response in a dedicated or existing column, when you send the update request this column could say something like"Pending", "Sent"', "Update Requested", etc. I would also add a way for the user to indicate no change is needed, so they could either update their info or do something simple like check a box that shows they received the request and nothing is needed. When any of these changes are made you can kick in another update cell automation to change the Status column to something like "Complete", "Update Received", etc.

Re: Add a formula column to multiple sheets efficiently
In that case you MIGHT be able to use the API. Otherwise you are looking at a manual process.

Re: Add a formula column to multiple sheets efficiently
I hope you're well and safe!
The premium app Control Center would be the best solution, but all sheets would have needed to have already been provisioned.
What I'd recommend is setting up the formulas in one sheet and then adding a special character before it so it's not active and then creating a report and copying/pasting it and then user Find/Replace on the special character so the formulas activate, but you'd unfortunately would have to right-click and activate the column formulas manually, or maybe use the Smartsheet API instead or a macro engine.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Re: Automation Question
Hey @Kris Peeters,
Can you add a snapshot of your automation?
My guess is that you didnt set a condition for which rows it should send.
When you set an automation to send when row changes, you also need to set a condition under it so it will only sent rows that are within this condition.
Hope that helps.

Re: How to include default values for new tasks in a Task List?
Hi @BESSjd,
A couple of ideas for you on this one:
- If you want to have selectable contacts in a dropdown via a form, pre-populate 'Add contacts' box when setting up the column. These will then be available for people submitting the form to select from.
- For any formula-based defaults, if you add a helper column as an override, you can adjust your formula to pick up the override if it is populated, or go with the default if not. Something along the lines of: =IF(Override@row<>"",Override@row,"Default value").

Re: PDF to MYOB
Hi @Julieh
@Ipshita is referencing MYOB as if it's a specific User, however I believe this is a secondary software that you're looking to integrate with Smartsheet, is that correct?
Without knowing too much about MYOB, I believe you may be correct in saying you'll need to download the file to then send it in the correct format.

Re: URL for a row of data
HI @alexis.ray89371 ,
Right click on the left hand side of the row (in the row number), then Properties. A small window will open with the Row Link as the last option. You can also click any cell in the row, row actions and then properties for the same result.
Hope this helps!
