Re: Customize SENDER of Smartsheet nofications
The current options for the sender of the Automation email are smartsheet automation, the name of the Smartsheet instance, or the sheet owner. To keep the communications on brand, we have users who are changing their name in the Admin Panel to the department name so that the automation email will come from the group/department. If there was an additional option on the automation to choose another email from which the automation email came from, it would solve many issues, including ignored notifications, or concerns about spam notifications.
Re: Quick navigation to the latest/last non blank row in Smartsheet
On PC keyboard:
Click the any cell, then click Ctrl-End to go to the last cell/last column
From there, Ctrl-Left arrow takes you to the first column, Ctrl-Up from there will take you to the first filled cell.
Ctrl-down arrow will take you to the next blank cell in the column, which may not be the last cell.
Ctrl-Home will take you to first cell/first column
Ctrl-G will tell you the number of the last row, enter it and go.
Hope this helps!
Enable GPS Based Validation in Smartsheet Forms
Currently, Smartsheet forms allow users to submit responses from any location without validation. For field-based operations, it is critical to ensure that users are physically present at the location when submitting forms especially for Quality checks.
Quick navigation to the latest/last non blank row in Smartsheet
When working in large sheets, newly added rows (especially when not created via forms) are often appended at the bottom. Navigating to these rows requires manual scrolling, which can be time-consuming and inefficient.
It would be very helpful to have a feature that allows users to quickly jump to the last row or most recently added/updated row without scrolling.
Introduce a "Round Robin" action in the Automation Workflow
When a new row is added(ticket), the automation checks a specific contact column and assigns it to the person with the fewest "In Progress" rows.
Re: Implement 'partial match' search on drop-down lists in Dynamic View so it works in same way as sheet
in a sheet - a drop-down list column with allow multiple values selected offers a 'partial match' text search capability so that typing words in the middle of a text string will result in a shortlist of options being shown. This is excellent.
However - the same column when used in Dynamic View only provides an 'exact match' search capability which does not allow mid text string search terms to be used at all. This is a significant limitation and forces users to scroll through the entire list to find the items they need to select. These drop-down lists can have several hundred entries.
It seems like a simple change to the underlying code is all that is required to switch on the partial match capability in Dynamic View. Such a change would benefit all Smartsheet users.
Please could you implement this change as a matter of urgency?
Thank you

Thank you so much!! It was such a relief to see it rolled back today.
Re: Updates to the Left Navigation, now generally available!
I agree. I don't want to have to do an extra click each time I want to get into the Workspace panel to view ALL my workspaces. Would be nice if this was optional.
