Re: Dynamic View - Visibility of Attachments & Comments
I am in the works of launching a new process where the Mobile App experience is not functional. We are using WorkApps and Dynamic View, but having the Mobile App installed on the devices is routing users to that UX and proving unable to view/download the attachments. So we've had to recommend removing the app from the device and use the web client. This is unfortunate as there are some benefits to the Mobile App and if there are other processes dependent on the Mobile App, then the route we're taking here would negatively impact that process.
As a Dynamic View user (either in a WorkApp or standalone Dynamic View), I want to be able to select an attachment from the Display pane, view it (ideally on/in a new tab), in order to execute my business process.

Re: Dynamic View - Visibility of Attachments & Comments
Same here, my External Partners are becoming increasingly frustrated with this. With the additional cost associated we did not realize we would lose a lot of the enhanced functionality that came with working directly out of the underlying smartsheet, here is feedback directly from our partner:
"The ability to interact with attached documents as Smartsheets allows is a vital function that is missing. We no longer have the ability to:- preview pdf's- change the name of documents- upload a new version- delete documents. With out these abilities any interaction with a submission becomes cumbersome and a burden. We also need the ability to know when something has been updated without having to go into each item at a glance, some indicator of some sort (where is the previous icon?) this is a huge time waste."

Re: Dynamic View - Visibility of Attachments & Comments
Already have requested drag and drop on dynamic views. Would like to add the request for
- adding multiple attachments by clicking shift and or ctrl vs. individually adding
- Having the attachments be viewable as they are in the grid / report view vs having to download and open them
Re: Dynamic View - Visibility of Attachments & Comments
I have a similar issue. My users are asking me how can they see that they are new comments at a glance. I'm having trouble coming up with a solution. Seeing the comments and attachments in a similar way as on the reports and sheets would be great.

Re: New streamlined creation experience
I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent direction Smartsheet has taken, particularly since the acquisition. We’ve experienced a significant decline in service quality and functionality.
One account inexplicably increased from 6 users to a bill for 21, with charges now being applied to collaborators who were previously only shared sheet editors. Additionally, I no longer have the ability to create new sheets—an essential function for my work.
As a consultant, I’ve recommended Smartsheet to multiple companies in the past based on its flexibility and user-friendly interface. Unfortunately, many of the features that initially made Smartsheet a standout are now either restricted or monetized in a way that negatively impacts productivity.
At this point, I’m actively exploring alternative project management platforms, as Smartsheet no longer meets the needs of my business or those of my clients. It's also worth noting that Smartsheet appears to have dropped out of many top rankings in the project management space, which aligns with my recent experience.
I hope Smartsheet takes this feedback seriously and considers the impact these changes are having on loyal users and advocates of the platform.
Re: Dynamic View - Visibility of Attachments & Comments
Attachment preview functionaltiy without downloading is something that would be beneficial here as well. I am currently working with a team that has a large data sensitive sheet and they would like to use dynamic view but the lack of being able to preview the files is a deal breaking. Looking for work arounds but coming up short from all avenues.
Re: Dynamic View - Visibility of Attachments & Comments
This would be great as it's not worth it to click on every row just to see if there's a response to a comment or comment in general

Re: Default Drop Down Value
Completely agree with Cathy, crazy that this has been an idea for years and has not been added to the roadmap. Please update!

Re: Can't move primary column in reports when using a Group
How about just build a product that works and doesn't have restrictions that are mind-boggling obvious.
Re: Can't move primary column in reports when using a Group
Thanks @Genevieve P . At least I know it wasn't something I was doing wrong. It's slightly frustrating since the Primary Column isn't necessarily the one I want to see first, so I'll follow your suggestion to submit feedback on it.
Thank you
