Re: Chart Axis Customization
Has this issue been resolved? Without the ability to scale axis correctly, it misrepresents the data and essentially makes the chart functionality useless… Smartsheet; please provide an update on a update/resolution or work around.
Re: Chart Axis Customization
I agree with Jim. I have several charts that are not usable because they visually mis-communicate the data.
Conditional Formatting Blanks
In Conditional Formatting, when Setting a Condition, it would be helpful to be able to select "blank" as an option instead, especially when applying a format when conditions are not met. Some conditions are easier to do in the negative (especially when options are constantly being added), but without being able to select "blank" that isn't always possible. Thank you.
Feature Request: Include Support for Cross-Sheet References in Global Updates – Control Center
Description:
Currently, Global Updates in Control Center—specifically the Find and Replace function for formulas—do not support updates when those formulas involve cross-sheet references. As a result, Admins are required to manually update each individual project sheet, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, especially in environments with numerous templates and active projects.
Proposed Solution:
Enhance Global Updates to include support for formulas containing cross-sheet references. This would significantly reduce administrative overhead, streamline project maintenance, and ensure greater consistency across all project sheets within a portfolio.
Attach URL File link to Form using File Upload
Love the file upload feature in forms, however, need to collaborate with files on occasion. It would be great if we could attach the URL to a file in sharepoint through the form.
Re: Automations: include attachments
PLEASE provide this capability!
I am using control center to provision my assets. There are attachment(s) in the intake sheet. When they are added to the asset they are at the 'sheet' level. I do have an update request that includes attachments, however, the attachment is not available in the update request.
Am I missing something? Shouldn't the attachment be available in the Update Request?
Re: Is there a PDF User Manual?
This topic has been asked many times, with little to no results (at least for the type you/others are requesting). I have had to create my own version by taking each level offered on these pages here (Start with Basics, then click on each link you see - those are the guides you print), convert to a pdf form (basically print as pdf), gather the pdf's and put in a order that a typical Software Program / Navigation Guide would be laid out. Smartsheets likes to do most of their training/education paperless, so if your after something you can actually touch/hold, that wont happen unless you create your own or build upon someone elses for your use.
I created the first 5 links into single pdf's and combined into 1 pdf (see below) from the Basics Section / Sheets And Rows so you can see an example of the exhausting process above. I even saved the online videos and inserted them in the powerpoint with the pdf's and it helps those who have limited internet access or prefer paper docs.
Below are a few links to the other forums that brought this up as well for you to access.
Smartsheet User Guide — Smartsheet Community
Some people did create one for their company, but you will have to edit the pdf's content to remove their company data.
Here's a link to one of many Smartsheets channels that might be useful.
Not sure if that helps

Re: Multiple Line Entries with one Form Submission
I also need this for creating a Mileage Reimbursement form that allows users to enter a month's worth of trips. Currently we use another solution but wanted to migrate it to Smart Sheet. The other solution uses arrays so you can fill out the trip information, then add a new row for each trip until the end then Submit. It also does the calculations for the entire form, which then is automatically sent to Accounts Payable.
The same thing for Petty Cash, with rows for each expense item.
Re: Multiple Line Entries with one Form Submission
This feature has huge potential and massive application across specialties. I would love to use this as a lab inventory entry form. But the application could be universal. The user would enter the form for the lab item (kit name), kit details, and then the quantity of the kit. For example, lets say they had a quantity of 10 kits in this use case they would be able to use this feature to enter the form ONCE and have ten rows entered for the kit. The reason it is needed to have 10 rows is that each kit will need their own "status" line of available, expired, and used. Once the status changes from available they will be removed from the available inventory environment via an automation. Please create this feature! :)
Double Access Graph and using dates
it would be great if double access graphs would be available in Smartsheet like excel
Also, can something be done with the dates, so you don't need to do a formula on your dates to be able to put them in order in graph. it's really annoying to have a 1 in front of your months to be able to get them to display chronologically order in the graphs. I really love Smartsheet but there are some simple things, that it does not do well.
Thanks Simone
