Index Match does not work for hyperlinks to Smartsheet Item

I use Index Match to pull the project meta data from another sheet and one of the data elements to pull is the Project Dashboard Link, which is a hyperlink to a Smartsheet Dashboard. The link is not being pulled across only the Display Value/Text. Is there a way to pull the link across? I read somewhere that the workaround is to store the URL link, but this won't work in our case as our projects are being provisioned out of a standard template set, this means every project will have a different Dashboard link. To store the URL I need to manually create the URL link in our meta data sheet for each project, whereas storing it as hyperlink to Smartsheet Item will be automatically updated to the new project dashboard link every time a new project is being provisioned from the standard template set.

In that caser I believe you would need to pull in the full URL. Pulling in the "Display" text would only bring in text.

To simplify things, you could add a so-called helper column where you could copy the URL and reference in the cross-sheet formula.
