Automate symbols

This should be easy but I am stuck trying to figure out how to get the symbols to work in a formula to reflect health of budget percentages.

All the single lines work except the green one - it just shows up blank, with no error (the highlighted drop-down has the green formula only like below) I have tried the combo forumla and got the unparsable error. What am I missing??

I'd nest your if statements within each other.

=if([Budget vs Actual %]@row <= 10, "Red", if([Budget vs Actual %]@row <= 20, "Blue", if([Budget vs Actual %]@row <=30, "Yellow", "Green")))

Does that get you what you're looking for?

Thanks Ryan - I plugged that in and it gave me all red circles.

Try something like this.

=if([Budget vs Actual %]@row <= 0.1, "Red", if([Budget vs Actual %]@row <= 0.2, "Blue", if([Budget vs Actual %]@row <=0.3, "Yellow", "Green")))

One more question - can I change the blue dot to orange instead? Can't figure out how to fix that in the column settings.

Excellent!

Unfortunately, you can't change it to orange using symbols, but...

You can use other symbols by using UNICHAR, CHAR, or Emojis.
