update row approval or identification
Hello,
We have created a workers compensation Smartsheet that contains information like phone number, address, DOB etc. I would like to use the update row feature to allow employees to confirm and/or update those values. The challenge I have run into is 1. I am not sure I would like to allow them to simply overwrite the existing value so I am wondering if there is a way I could put an approval step in place. 2. If not, is there a way to identify values that have been changed other than using the highlight changes feature?
Thank you,
Khari

I hope you're well and safe!
You could:
- have a report showing changes
- add a so-called helper sheet where you copy the rows when anything changes
- have an alert showing the changes
Would any of those options work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
