When a row is created, how can I tell one of the columns to add today's date...
So I'm using Unito.io to pull data from DevOps, and I need to know when the row was created ( Not Updated ) in smartsheets.
So, I looked at using the "auto number," but there is no way to tell it to use the date.
Can someone help?

@MarkSchlaudraff One of the column types is "Created Date" - that should be exactly what you are you looking for.

I hope you're well and safe!
You could use a Workflow combined with the record a date Action.
Another option could be to add the system column, Created Date, and then get the date and time the row was added to the sheet.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

I think I found the solution, which is to make a automation that adds the date in a select column when a row is created.
