Dealing with attachments between sheets

We have a graphics request form - once approved, the graphic request elements copy to our Graphics Dept tracking sheet and the accounting elements go to our Business Office both via copy row automation. Once they land, the business office sheet, I'd like to strip out the graphic request attachment - but I can't find any way to do it, except manually each time.

Any ideas?

This thread has a work around. It's not something that's officially supported yet.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.

Another option would be to use so-called helper sheets. In short, copy the row to a helper sheet and then use my method described previously to get the values you need to another helper sheet and then copy/move the row from that sheet to the main destination sheet.

Edit. I noticed that Mike linked to a post where I answered with the same workaround. (I hadn't refreshed the page)
