Good morning,
Our installers work a lot in the field and they use whatsapp to communicate, it would be a great feature if we could direct communicate out of SmartSheet with whatsapp.

I do not know if this idea was already submitted or not. But it would be awesome and super beneficial to integrate WhatsApp (individual phone numbers or team groups) to smartsheet, so send automated notification (request, updates, etc.). I think communication is extremely important in projects, but at the sametime using 1 platform for all is even better.
Thanks..
2 billion people use WhatsApp. It makes sense to integrate.
As a frequent user of communication tools like WhatsApp, I agree that integrating WhatsApp with Smartsheet would significantly streamline project workflows. As we already know, WhatsApp is widely used for team communication, and integrating it into Smartsheet could bring great benefits. It would allow for seamless and instant communication within the platform, improving efficiency in managing tasks and updates.
This integration could be particularly beneficial for teams working remotely or in the field, where quick communication is vital. Imagine receiving automated updates directly on WhatsApp, helping to keep everyone informed in real time.
For instance, on my own website, I’ve seen how vital timely reminders are, especially in spiritual practices like Morning Remembrances. Just as reminders for daily prayers play a significant role, having integrated notifications in Smartsheet would offer similar efficiency for project management. This would enhance productivity and ensure that all team members remain on the same page without switching platforms constantly.
Thanks for considering this feature!
Concerning integration of WhatsApp and Smartsheet, I think it would be an interesting feature to have the ability of exporting WhatsApp survey results to Smartsheet.
Thanks
Acha a ideia genial. Essa integração faria com que o Smartsheet ficasse a frente de muitas plataformas. Vamos aguardar.
This makes lots of sense, so we built it! Please get in touch with solutions@infospark.com.au if you would like to have WhatsApp working seamlessly with Smartsheet. We put a lot of thought into building the WhatsApp connector for Smartsheet, including building a range of options for how you can send a message out to WhatsApp. Some of the features include: - Two way connector between your sheets and WhatsApp - Automatically creates WhatsApp groups for your projects or tasks - Fast and simple messaging out to your colleagues and associates We're excited to be launching such a high demand app connector, and look forward to speaking with anybody that would like to be able to join WhatsApp to Smartsheet. Cheers, Lindsay
Our business has users would greatly benefit from this integration as customers are primarily whatsapp users.
It will be a tremendous help to have whatsapp integration in place !!. Currently we are moving between both apps manually , our solution is developed on Smartsheet but our customers mainly use Whatsapp.
Therefore, I would strongly vote for this idea and urge Smartsheet to provide this feature which will be universally helpful for many businesses/solutions. Thank you
I noticed this the other day and tested Ctrl + M – it does not work. I submit ticket to Smartsheet support – they told me that’s expected behavior because it’s not currently available even though it still shows as keyboard shortcut in the menu🙄 and told me to submit new product idea. Please add this keyboard shortcut to…
Summary of Issue All team members work a standard 7.5‑hour day, but only a portion of that day is allocated for project work (e.g., 25%, 50%, etc.). In Resource Management, however, the system currently interprets allocations as a percentage of the full 7.5 hours, instead of the project‑eligible portion of a person’s day.…
Dashboard widgets are currently mostly static. I can display counts and charts, but I cannot click into a specific part of a widget to drill into the underlying records. It would be a big usability improvement if widgets supported interactive drill-down. For example: Click a bar segment (or stacked segment) to open the…
