Data Shuttle input not working at all-source field not mapped
Hi guys
I have tried 50 times different scenarios and just can not get it to work.
I'm trying to set up upload data , using 2 exactly same file one in my sharepoint personal folder second is the smartsheet , no matter what i do i always get source field not mapped and can not select anything else. I have tried to output the sheet from smartsheet and use that as source, not working. Also tried to upload sheet from Smartsheet repository onto different sheet still getting source field not mapped

I was able to find out what i'm doing wrong. In the step where you select tap number this is an order position of the sheet so sheet1 would be 1 sheet2 would be 2 etc...it is not number of columns as i originally thought , so changing this to 1 helped and columns are mapped.
maybe it will help someone.

Hi @lukas.gany
You have to set up your "Target Sheet" before you can map the columns in Data Shuttle workflow. This means that your target sheet needs to have the same column names as you have in your source sheet or it would just appear as Column1, Column2 and so on and so forth.
So build your target sheet first and then when you select the same to map your columns you would easily see them either mapped or available for mapping.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the answer, i'm not sure i follow what you wrote .
I believe i already have a target sheet (where i want to upload the values) , or am i missing something ?

Hi @lukas.gany
Okay I get your point. Looks like you might have some issue with your unique identifier. Make sure that fulfills the criteria of a "unique identifier" as in it really has a unique number for each row and then check the column properties to make sure they are the same type in both your source and target sheets. Try removing the unique identifier and see if the workflow now maps the sheets, also what do you get in the dropdowns above when you try to manually map the columns? Can you probably try that and let me know if that works?
In Smartsheet, we learn by trial and error at times. Hope this helps :)

i have attached the source/destination file in original post ... are you able to make it work ? if so maybe there is problem with my system/licence/connections
UI=unique identifier is a unique number, i can not remove primary column but i have tried it without UI and also didnt work. Clicking on drop down brings no option to map to , its literally empty.

Awesome @lukas.gany - as I said, Smartsheet is all about trial and error and works wonders when you least expect it :)
