Project Schedule Templates by Business Area/Focus

Hi All,

I've been tasked w/ developing a few project schedule template that can serve multiple discipline areas within our enterprise. Our current template offers a range of essential tasks from an IT perspective. This creates some confusion w/ other departments when we launch their project package to kick off a project. They spend a lot of time deleting task and/or phases listed. Wanted to see if I could get ideas of project schedule templates being used to share w/ my team to consider features that we could collate into one or two versions of a project schedule. All ideas welcome.

@Andrée Starå - yes, we reviewed it as a team. there are some decent options but nothing that offers dynamic automations for project upkeep, routing of approvals, etc. already built in to the template. Looking for more insight to what other departments beyond ePMO has found helpful for their project schedules.
