Re-Ordering Child Rows with Predecessors
When I drag a child row to re-order it among other child rows, its calculated date column (with predecessors) remains the same instead of re-calculates from the new order.
In this example, it would be useful for the 10/03/22 date to automatically change to 9/29/22.

No. The predecessors never look at sort order. They are manually selected which means they need to be manually adjusted.

That is because predecessors are hard coded. You would need to adjust the predecessors accordingly to have the dates change.

If the predecessor is referring to the same column for duration, is there something else to revise in the 'Edit Project Settings' box to have it recognize the revised child row order?
