Sharing New Template on Dashboard

We have created several templates that live in folders because they have sheet/report/dashboard tied to them. I would like to share these templates on a dashboard so someone simply clicks on the template and are asked to save the template folder to a new workspace. I haven't figured out a way to do this. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! Rebecca
