Sorting more than 9 sheets within a report

Hi,

I have created a report which contains 25 sheets and data contained within each. To keep the view simple I am grouping by sheet name so each "chunk" of data relates to a single sheet.

What I would like to do next is sort the report using the sheet names. I have tried multiple ways of doing this but cant get what I want.

I have tried re-naming each sheet with an incremental number to start with. This works nicely for the first 9 sheets, but when we run into double digits smartsheet is putting all the '1's' together eg 1, 11, 12 instead of 1, 2, 3

I have tried this also with letters but smartsheet doesn't seem to recognize the single letters at the beginning of the sheet name.

Would anyone have a solution I can use in order to sort sheet order in a report where there is more than 9 sheets?

Try something like this.

01, 02, 03, and so on, and it should work.

Hi,

No sorry this isn't working. for some reason some of the numbers do not show even after i save and refresh.

Is it because I am grouping by the sheet name also?

3. the way i have grouped

for some reason, no matter how many times i refresh, the report is not picking up the numbers i have used in the sheet name.

There is sometimes a delay (I have seen a day or more on rare occasion) in the sheet name being updated on the back end.

Try logging out, clearing cookies and cache, then logging back in again to see if that helps push through the sheet name updates.
