How To Search for Text In A Report

When I use the search function to search for an ID code, I will get the sheets where that code is listed, but any reports where the code may be will not be listed.

That's because a Report is basically another view of one or more sheets.

The reports make it easy for a head of a department to update information for all items pertaining to them. However, looking thru them to find one specific ID number would be difficult for any human which is why we rely on a query or search function.

If anyone looking has dealt with this type of issue, or maybe has a work around? I'd love to discuss!
