How to choose a template

Hello. I'm a new user. Is there somewhere I can go to help me learn which template is the best option for me to use? I've previously been using MS Project to manage a master project that has subprojects - both have task that are linked/dependent on each other. I want the subprojects to be updated by it's respective lead and the update reflected in the master project and vise versa. I also like to see a Timeline that shows my milestones.
